LondonizeD – Day 1

Friday afternoon I left Antwerp to catch the eurostar to London. My trip went smoothly. I really was excited, because I have never had been in London before. My best friend moved there a few months ago for his job. He invited me to stay at his house in Notting Hill. He came to pick me up at the beautiful St. Pancras international train station. I got a warm welcome and was super happy to see him again :-)! He gave me an Oyster card and we took the tube. It was a nice experience. The public transport in London is very well organized. After a few stops we arrived at the Royal Oak tube station. When I came out the tube station, there flew a vibrant energy through me. At that moment I realized that I already was falling in love with London ;-). When we arrived at his place he told me that they still had to deliver his groceries. How easy and fancy is this! I really was suprised. To celebrate my first day in London, we decided to go and eat in a restaurant in Notting Hill. We went to an Indochinese restaurant “BananaTree”. I didn’t know what to expect. But when our meals arrived, they looked so yummy:-). It has been a while, that I had such an over delicious dinner. It was an excellent moment to catch up. My first day in London was great! On to the next.
