Londonized Birthday Shopping Tour

On my birthday I have done a shopping tour in the centre of London. The first store I visited was M&M’s World at the Leicester Square. With four levels it’s the largest candy store in the world. You can buy M&M’s in different flavors and colors. After my M&M walk, I went to Regent Street. The first clothing store I entered was H&M, it’s one of my favorite stores. You can always find the newest (high) fashion trends at an affordable price .The interior was unique, it had an industrial modern look. I had the feeling that I was in a huge factory store! I walked further and bumped in to Uniqlo, a store that doesn’t exist in Belgium. It’s a Japanese store, that sells casual wear. If you need a basic garment, Uniqlo is definitely the right shop to go to. The quality and price ratio is great. By using the best assets, Uniqlo wants to give their customers the best products and values. Sometimes you still can buy bargains. I was one of the lucky ones that found a pair of trousers ;o). In my blessed mood, I went in & Other Stories. I had already heard of this two floors shop, but I never been there. It’s the luxury brand of H&M. If you like H&M sister brand COS, you will love & Other Stories. The accessories are highlighted in this shop and the clothes are exclusive and trendy. After my &Other Stories experience, it was time for Topshop! Britain’s largest A-list fashion store with high fashion essentials at reasonable prices. I took  a Topshop map, so I couldn’t get lost in this large three floored store. It’s not a random clothing store! You can eat something, get yourself a beauty treatment, get your hair or nails done. I couldn’t believe my eyes! I felt like I was in a small fashion/beauty paradise. With all that Topshop has to offer under one roof, it’s very normal that you once and a while run in to a (Hollywood) celebrity. My next stop was at Kiko Make Up Milano. The shop has a stylish black interior. Besides professional make up and all necessary accessories, you also can find body and face treatments. What I love about Kiko is that they have make up for all type of skin tones! You pay less for a lot of quality. Everything is beautifully and professionally displayed. The staff is very friendly and helpful.  I was looking for a new fall lipstick and I found a great reddish tone named Apple Red. I bought myself  the smallest but finest birthday gift :o). Happy me! With my Apple Red lips I was ready to explore Oxford Street. On my bestie’s advice, I went to Selfridges. When I entered this gigantic department store, I felt like a small small girl in a big big store ;o). If you’re a shopaholic, this is where you have to be! They have an extended range of quality goods, this involves excellent clothes retailers. There are also a number of first class restaurants and let’s not forget about the amazing food hall. After my lunch break, it was time to visit the last, but not the least store. I went to visit the world famous low cost store. If you are in London you need to go to PRIMARK! It’s a basic need ;o). Primark is one of the most innovative stores for me. You can find great imitations of the newest cat-walk trends and have this look for a small price. It wasn’t the most relaxed shopping experience with the hustle and bustle, but  it was enriching. It was a spectacular happening to see and experience the newest fall & winter trends in the  Fashion Capital ! After this fantastic inspirational birthday shopping tour it was time to go home for a well deserved rest with my feet up :o)
