Once a month I get my nails done. During the summer I like mainly bright colors. It’s always difficult for me to pick a color. This time I decided to go for orange. It’s also the color of my favorite national team: The Netherlands ;o). On my ring finger, my nail stylist gave me a personal golden “Sharonized” touch. I felt; reborn, happy and positive. Ready to start the next month. Each color has a meaning. Below you can find more about the meaning of orange.

The color orange is the radiates; happiness and warmth. It offers strength in difficult times and it helps us to bounce from disappoints and recover from grief . It’s a uplifting and optimistic color. It brings spontaneity and a positive outlook on life. It keeps us motivated and helps us to look at the bright side of life. The color orange relates to social communication, stimulating two way conversations. A warm and inviting color, it is both physically and mentally stimulating, so it gets people thinking and talking!

At the same time, orange is also stimulating to the appetite. If you love having people around the kitchen table, orange will keep them talking and eating for a long time. Many restaurants still increase the appetite and promote conversation and social interaction, which encourages patrons to have a good time and to eat drink more.

The color orange is obviously the worst color to have in the kitchen if you are trying to lose weight!

It creates new ideas and frees the spirit of its limitations, by giving us the freedom to be ourselves. At the same time it encourages self-respect and respect of others.

Orange is probably the most rejected and under-used color of our time. However, young people do respond well to it as it has a degree of youthful impulsiveness to it.

Buy yourself something orange, even if it’s something small, like a pen and change your life in a positive and optimistic way.
