Once in a month my girlfriends and I have a breakfast date. Every time we try a new place in our hometown, Antwerp. This time we went to Tinsel. We couldn’t make any reservations, so we had to be on time. Tinsel is a small cozy breakfast and lunch bar, where everything is homemade. It was our first time at Tinsel and we didn’t know what to expect. The menu was short and concise. We knew instantly what we wanted. Our eye fell on the luxurious breakfast. The luxurious breakfast consists of; coffee or tea, croissants, bread, cheese, smoked salmon, ham, peanut butter, chocolate spread, honey and eggs (you can choose how they prepare it). They also have healthy breakfast and lunch specials ;o). Since almost everything is made fresh, we had to wait while before our breakfast was served. It was as delicious as it looked. Even baby Olivier enjoyed every bite of it ;o). Tinsel is also known for homemade pastries. Unfortunately we had no room anymore in our bellies for a pastry :o(. You also find; fruit, different types of tea , coffees and many other ( healthy) delicacies. After our morning feast, it was time to recover :o).

If you love a nice and ( healthy ) varied breakfast, lunch or homemade pastries, then tinsel is the place for you.
